FOUNDATION DONATES TO TOYS FOR TOTS
Hundreds of Toys Donated to the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation

Waterford, CT - December 18, 2007 – Today, the Waterford Group Charitable Foundation donated more than 300 toys to Toys for Tots to be distributed to the local community. The gifts were donated by the associates of Waterford Group and its affiliates, including the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, Residence Inn by Marriott Mystic, Comfort Inn Mystic, Holiday Inn New London, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Waterford, and Courtyard by Marriott Norwich. At Waterford’s corporate office, hotel and office associates helped Toys for Tots representatives load the toys into the van.

“For the second year in a row, the Waterford Group Charitable Foundation has assisted Toys for Tots during our annual Holiday Toy Drive. On behalf of the entire organization and the children of Southeastern Connecticut, I would like to extend our gratitude to the Waterford Group Charitable Foundation,” said Kevin Huguley, Naval Submarine School Toys for Tots Drive Coordinator. “Because of the Waterford associates, this holiday season will be a brighter one for many children in our area,” added Huguley.

“The efforts of the Toys for Tots Foundation are to be commended, and we are excited to participate in this worthy cause,” said Len Wolman, Chairman and CEO of Waterford Group. “I am proud of the Waterford associates and their continued generosity and commitment to helping others in our community,” added Wolman.

About the Marine Toys for Tots
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit public charity is the authorized fund raising and support organization for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation provides the funding and support needed for successful annual toy collection and distribution campaigns. The Foundation is located at Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA. Local Marine Corps Reserve units and volunteer organizations collect and distribute toys in 545 communities covering all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
