WATERFORD APPOINTS SCHRODER AS GENERAL MANAGER
FOR RADISSON HOTEL IN BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI

(Waterford, CT – October 10, 2006) --- Waterford Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Duane Schroder as General Manager of the Radisson Hotel in Bloomfield Hills, MI. As General Manager, Schroder will be responsible for all phases of the hotel’s operations, sales and administration, including the management of approximately 40 associates. Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm, professionally manages the 150-room hotel.

After completing his hospitality degree from Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg, South Africa, Schroder joined Waterford Hotel Group as a participant in their International Associates Program in August 2002. He held positions within the Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and Front Office departments at the Holiday Inn in New London, CT, and was then promoted to Assistant General Manager at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Princeton, NJ. In addition, Schroder successfully completed Task Force assignments at the Ramada Inn in Rutland, VT, Courtyard by Marriott in Concord, NH, Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT, and the Holiday Inn Express in Southington, CT. He then joined the team at the Hilton Hartford in CT as Front Office Manager, before being promoted to General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express in Southington, CT.
