Waterford Group Restaurants Created to Manage
Company’s Restaurant & Bar Establishments

WATERFORD, CT (June 30, 2005) – Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. is a multi-award winning organization that has established itself as one of the leading hotel management companies in the Northeast. The company’s commitment to excellence in the area of restaurant and bar management is the driving force behind the launch of Waterford Group Restaurants, a new Waterford Hotel Group subsidiary formed to manage the company’s future dining establishments as well as its current portfolio of restaurants and bars.

With negotiations underway with several additional restaurants, Waterford Group Restaurants’ initial collection of establishments includes:

Octagon: Located at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, the elegantly modern and sophisticated 142-seat award winning, AAA Four-Diamond Octagon restaurant specializes in the “Art of Steak” featuring an open flame exhibition grill while offering a large selection of innovative dishes, including fresh native seafood. The restaurant also features a dynamic, glass enclosed, temperature controlled wine room containing one of the region’s finest wine collections holding a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

Vines at Octagon: Also located at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, Vines at Octagon offers a casual American bistro, breakfast, lunch and dinner dining experience. The restaurant features a variety of pastas, salads, sandwiches and tasty entrees, as well as full beverage service featuring wines by the glass from around the world.

Morty & Ming's: Located at the Hilton Hartford, Morty & Ming’s is where Chinatown meets the Carnegie Deli by offering an eclectic mix of both New York deli style food along with Szechwan and Cantonese Chinese food, all on one diverse menu with a full selection of both cuisines. The restaurant features a sleek, modern dining room, as well as a full service beverage counter for quick bites, late night dessert, contemporary beverages, or even just a cup of warm coffee.

Element 315: Located at the Hilton Hartford, Element 315 is an urban lounge that features a fireplace and casual, comfortable seating. Its highly social environment offers hotel guests, travelers and city residents a place to unwind, featuring a selection of refreshing signature cocktails and a full menu of wines, beers, and other spirited concoctions.

Vivo: Located at the soon to open Marriott Hartford Downtown, Vivo will be a spirited, grand trattoria that features built-in wood fired ovens and a Napa style market expo kitchen that will showcase green market Italian flavors presented in a refreshingly creative American style. The 180-seat restaurant will feature 20-30 feet vaulted ceilings with authentic designer touches, such as Marmorino plastered walls.

Crush: Located at the soon to open Marriott Hartford Downtown, Crush will be a seductively intimate, residential-type lounge that will offer interpretive drinks and intoxicating conversation with a hip urban vibe. Crush, which also has 20-30 feet vaulted ceilings, will allow guests to interact in both a flexible and social environment by placing oversized ottomans and sofas throughout the space.
