Windsor Locks, CT (April 7, 2008) --- The Doubletree Hotel Bradley International Airport has been recognized as a top performer in the Doubletree brand by Hilton Hotels Corporation. The property received the 2007 Director of Sales Award for “Most Improved RevPAR Index in an Airport Market”. RevPAR is a measure of revenue per available room and the index award is an indication of this hotel’s ability to successfully capture an improved share of both occupancy and rate in their market. The Windsor Locks location was chosen from among all Doubletree airport locations eligible for this honor in North America.

The Doubletree in Windsor Locks, owned by United Capital Corporation of Great Neck, NY, completed a 2 million dollar renovation in 2006. The project has given the 20-year old hotel a new face. Work on the 200-room hotel included a refurbished lobby and meeting space, bathroom facilities, modernization of guest rooms, installation of new furniture, and a state of the art business center located centrally in the lobby.
