FROM MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL


Residence Inn by Marriott Receives Five Awards Including
Diamond General Manager of the Year

Southington, CT (March 21, 2007) – During a recent Marriott conference held in San Antonio, Texas, General Manager Carol Secondino accepted five awards on behalf of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Southington, Connecticut. Among the five awards, Secondino was named Diamond General Manager of the Year by the franchise company, one of only five general managers recognized in this category. Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. professionally manages the 94-suite Residence Inn by Marriott located at 778 West Street, Southington.

The hotel was also recognized with a Platinum Award, representing an elite group of only nine Marriott Residence Inns achieving exceptional guest satisfaction scores. Additionally, the Southington Residence Inn received the following awards: Highest Overall Guest Satisfaction, Highest Guest Satisfaction for Breakfast, and Lowest Problem Incidence. Secondino and the Southington team were chosen among a pool of more than 500 Residence Inn by Marriott properties located in North America.

Len Wolman, Chairman and CEO of Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., along with other Waterford representatives, recently joined the Southington Residence Inn staff for a celebratory luncheon. “To be recognized by Marriott International in this way is remarkable,” Wolman commented to the Southington team. “You are an example for all of us and we thank you for your hard work and dedication. During the celebration, Wolman presented the Southington hotel associates engraved silver stars and certificates in honor of their award winning accomplishments.
