The hotel possesses an intimate, warm and sophisticated boutique atmosphere with a design that reflects the history and community. The award winning local design firm of Ford & Earl Associates drew inspiration from the heritage of nearby Cranbrook Academy of Art renowned for its high quality of design and education. In the tradition of artist Eliel Saarinen [the Academys designer and first president] clean lines and earth tones are recalled in the geometric and organic patterns used in carpet, wall coverings, paint, window treatment, bedding and custom designed guest room furniture. New art work based upon the grounds and architecture of Cranbrook further enhances the theme. About Radisson Hotels & Resorts ###
